Since its opening in 2011, MSMHS has made a big splash in education with its innovative and rigorous curriculum within the walls of a fun and energetic school culture and climate. We welcome you to learn and explore why MSMHS has been nationally recognized by Newsweek, US News & World Report, and The Washington Post as one of the best high schools in Connecticut and the nation.
MSMHS is equipped with a student-run aquiculture facility that has the capability to grow a wide variety of aquatic organisms, from both fresh and saltwater environments.
There is an application process and an open lottery system for acceptance into MSMHS.
School choice means students can choose to attend an academic institution other than their assigned (based on residency) public school
The National Honor Society is an organization that recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding accomplishments in scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
The mission of the MSMHS school counseling program is to support each student's academic, personal, social, and career needs while preparing each for a lifetime of learning.
